WE DID NOT CRY!!!

Today, Claudia and I went to the mall for her to see Santa. Our friend Karen went with us. We had fun. I was thinking that Claudia would probably chicken out when we got there but, she didn't. I was soooooo proud of her. She was so sweet to him and let me tell you that he is the SWEETEST SANTA I HAVE EVER MET. He is the same one Stella McKenzie has seen since she was a baby.
Claudia did not cry but I did. The cute mom in front of us put her little girl in Santa's lap and the baby started to cry. It was a silent, red faced, moma help me cry. Tears just poured out of her little eyes. That moma started crying and I started crying looking at her. She was the sweetest moma.
We took some of the cutest pictures of Claudia and Santa. I just wanted to share this one in the blog. MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!!!

Saturday, October 13th we had our annual family reunion. No shirts!! haha. Anyway, this one was special because it actually fell on my late mama's birthday. It's har to believe she entered heaven over 2 years ago! We miss her alot but we know she would not come back if she could.
We had a really good time. The kids had fun playing outside because the weather was perfect. Claudia and Kylee got empty ice cream buckets and went picking up pecans. They loved it. When Kylee left Claudia recruited her great Aunt to help her. "What a precious picture" We had wonderful food (as usual) and the company was great too. There was 67 present. All family except 2 guests. And we had 32 that could not make it.
Before we went over to Aunt Katherine's house, the girls played outside. Claudia was Dorothy , Kylee was a fairy princess and Kenzie was "Kenzie". They had a ball. We brought them in for baths screaming. Everyone had alot of fun and as usual, it was complete chaos at moma's with all of us there.

Sleepover

Claudia and I went and picked up my niece Kylee from her babysitters yesterday. Claudia wanted her to spend the night. They love each other so much. I think they hug and tell each other they love each other more than anybody I've ever seen. They got up this morning wanting grits and bacon. Yeah, good ole southern girls!!! They are really excited about going to see their special cousins Chantse and Kane play football tonight. We picked out their outfits this morning and tried them on and they did not want to take them off.
Well, I guess I spoke too soon. Claudia just hit Kylee on purpose with a wand. Woodie was sad and Claudia was even more sad. I made Claudia apologize and she said "Sorry cousin!" How funny. Ok, I guess I have housework to do. Oh, pray for Claudia because she has a dental appt. Thurs. morning for impressions for new front teeth. I know how adults are about impressions so think of us at 8:30 am on the 18th.

I lost some of my last post. I wanted to just say about my encounter last week. God showed up in a mighty way! We as christians, have no idea the power we have through Jesus Christ!!! We need to start using that power. The Lord revealed so much to me through my deliverence. I had no idea how many strongholds I had in my life. NOT ANYMORE. I HAVE CONQUERED THEM THROUGH JESUS WHO CONQUERED DEATH!!! WE HAVE GOT TO USE OUR POWER AGAINST satan and his demons. It is amazing how little we know about this.
Ok, I am about to start my sermon so I will get Kenzie to bed now.
Well, I don't have a new picture today but I will post some tomorrow. I have not posted since my neighbor, Gracie passed away. It has been so different around here.

Claudia says she is an angel now watching over us. How true that is!!!!!

I have been off this week and boy, have I been lazy. I can not seem to get motivated to do much. I did clean my desk today. Yesterday, Claudia and I went and had lunch with McKenzie at school and did a fall craft with her class. We put some decorations up outside her classroom door and Claudia spilt my whole cup of McAlister's tea. Thank God it was unsweet.

We also went to my office so that I could see a patient. The girls had field day pretending they were dentists. Claudia was running to me saying Moma, I need patients so I can clean some teeth. Hilarious!

Well, Tuesday morning was the day. Claudia had her 2 tooth pulled. She really does look so cute now with 2 missing front teeth. What does she do last night? Fell into the nightstand and blood was everywhere. Her nose and upper lip. She just can't win for losing. Bless her heart!

We have an appointment on 10/18 to have an impression made. They will send that to a lab in California and we will get some new front teeth! I can not wait. We will have teeth for thanksgiving and our Disney trip.

McKenzie has started GA's. She loves it. She is learning her Motto, scripture, and pledge. I am really glad she is learning about missions. After all, isn't that why we are all here?

I had the most awesome experience last week. I went through a 3 day spiritual deliverence. Let me just say,

An unusual quiet Friday night!

I decided to try Claudia's favorite color this time. It has been so long since I updated. We have had sickness and all kinds of drama. Everything is better in this household right now. McKenzie is spending the night with her new friend from school. They realized they have the same birthday. I left them about to play school and listen to their music. Some things never change. I can still remember my slumber parties and how we listened to our RECORDS. HA HA HA. We loved Midnight Star. We also loved the song Our house, in the middle of the street...... Remember that one? I forgot who sings it but we wore that record out.
Claudia is asleep already. She did not get her nap today. So we road a little after we dropped McKenzie off. Let's just hope she doesn't decide to wake up too early.
A few posts ago, I mentioned Gracie our neighbor who made Claudia's cake. She is very sick in ICU and we think at this point she is in God's hands. It's going to be a miracle or perfect healing. We miss her terribly. I talked to her everyday if not in person then over the phone. We can not imagine this street without her. I don't even want to think about it. It feels like the worst dream. Please pray for her husband, Mike and her 2 daughters, Amanda and Sarah. Even the 3 cats are having a tough time. She has been in the hospital for 5 weeks now.
Okay, I have to mention these new pictures. Isn't Kylee Raye cute? And what a neat picture of the airplane. Mimi was actually on THAT one. We were outside the airport watching for it because it was a little late.
Now, I thought I put McKenzie's first day of 3rd grade on here. I guess I forgot. But, I am about to add it. She is growing up too fast. Now Claudia is too; but, she is sooooooo funny. She told me ther orther day that she was agerbated and compicated. I think she knows every Hannah Montana and High School Musical song. It blows my mind how much she retains. I think she is smarter than us right now. Ha Ha. McKenzie loves playing school with her. She has taught her aeiou and 1+1=2. Right now she is teaching her the Star Spangled Banner. Well, I am going to take advatage of this time. I get to watch something on tv besides Diego, Dora, Backyardigans, or Wonderpets. I even know what Wow, Wow, Wubzy is, do you?

This is the best Hannah Montana look alike that I have ever seen! McKenzie got a HM wig from her Mimi and Popa last weekend. She has been signing autographs!!!!! She loves singing and dancing. She puts on a concert for us every Friday night. She makes programs for us and Claudia loves to join in! Now I am going to break up the fighting.
I have been wanting to add this story but I forgot. Claudia had a dream that her daddy's blower (for the yard) got her birthday cake. She was so serious about it. She said "Reallllllly Moma, I never!" That's her 2 new words she likes to use. It does not matter to her if you know what she is talking about or not because she does!!!! And she was determined she had to have another birthday cake. So, week before last, Mrs. Gracie made her this cake. She has been satisfied ever since.
Today is June 21st and we have been lounging today. You know it is not easy keeping 2 girls quiet all day while daddy is sleeping. Claudia and I decided to go outside to let her jump on the trampoline. She got a cowboy hat yesterday and she has hardly taken it off. The trampoline was hot so she put on her robeez. So, of course, I had to take a picture. She looked too cute. After that, I decided to send her picture to the Robeez website to enter a photo contest (with about 700 other kids) Ha. Well, Claudia is asleep now and Kenzie is cleaning her room (as usual) so I am going to watch "Bays of bour lies" as my 2 year old puts it. How sad!!!! She has already been branded!!!! MaMa would be proud.

Today is Father's Day!!!! We finally got some pictures with daddy. We had a good day. Swimming was so much fun. Claudia finally decided to try the floaties. She loves them. I don't think she is scared to do anything. McKenzie had fun standing in her daddy's hands. She has long legs! i did not realize how long until she was doing the hand stands. This is Craig's first day on his new schedule. And guess what, he had to go up to the office to move his things to a new zone at work. He was not happy! But, we are so excited about the 4 night work week!!!! Thanks for checking out our family!!! Updatecha soon!!!!

Well, I am learning how to do this. So anyway, as I was saying, we have a big cat. He is actually McKenzie's. She is 8 going on 18. Claudia is the baby. She is 2 but talks like she's 8. McKenzie is definitely my model and drama queen. Claudia is my brain child. She loves baseball. She asks almost everyday can she go to a ballgame.
The girls both are crazy over their daddy. Well, that's not too hard. He's the best. He, for some reason has avoided the camera lately. We will fix that on Father's day.
We will try to update regularly.
We are the Ford's. We are a family of four with an extra large Skittles. That, if you're wondering is our male cat. He is soooooo sweet and we are sure he is not finished growing yet.
